Flexible Benefit Plan
A Flexible Benefit Plan or FlexFund is a flexible compensation benefit plan that allows an employee to set aside a certain amount from their paycheck into an account before paying income taxes. This plan is in accordance with Internal Revenue Code Section 125. The participant may use these “pre-tax dollars” for regularly-paid expenses, such as health care and dependent daycare.
