After serving as LCV's President and CEO for more than 20 years, John transitioned out of that role in December 2006, and became the Firm's COO. He also provides tax compliance and planning services to a number of individual and business clients.

John attended DePaul University where he earned a BS degree and then completed the MAS program at the University of Illinois. He spent two years as an Assistant Professor of Accounting, and two years as an auditor for an international CPA firm before joining LCV in 1970. He has been an officer with LCV since 1974.

His professional affiliations include the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society. John has been involved with the CGH Medical Center for more than 18 years and has served as its Board Chair. In addition, he has held the position of Board Chair and Treasurer of the CGH Health Foundation. He is also Treasurer of the Kiwanis Club of Sterling and has served on numerous other boards during his career.

John is married with two sons, one an allergist in suburban Chicago and the other a partner in a CPA firm in Iowa.
