Richard's area of specialization includes management consulting, individual and estate tax work and employee flex benefits. Richard started with LCV in 1972 after working in the tax department at Sundstrand. The diverse experiences of clients is what he enjoys most about his work.

He attended Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa and graduated with double majors in Accounting and Business Administration.

Richard's professional involvement includes the AICPA, the Illinois CPA Society, and PKF North American Network. He is also a trustee of the Manuscript Society.

Richard is married with three children and seven grandchildren. Besides his work, he enjoys fishing, basketball, and the collecting of manuscripts and regional art.
