Doug concentrates and specializes in closely-held business, bank, and individual tax planning and preparation. In addition, he is very actively involved in the audit of and consulting for more than 30 banks in Northern Illinois. Before joining LCV in 1979, Doug worked for a Big Four accounting firm, first with the audit staff and later in the tax department.

Doug graduated in 1976 with highest honors from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He has been a Shareholder of LCV since 1982.

His professional affiliations include membership in the AICPA, the Illinois CPA Society, and is a member of CBAN, the Community Bankers Network. He is a member of the PKF North American Network's Financial Institutions Committee.

He has served as president of the local Rotary Club, both a high school and elementary school board, as well as a private country club board. He has been involved in local baseball organizations for more than 16 years.
