SCHOLL EARNS CEH CERTIFICATION
The Sterling office of Lindgren, Callihan, Van Osdol & Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that Mark Scholl, Executive Officer, has recently earned his certification as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
A Certified Ethical Hacker is a skilled professional who, using the same methods and tools as a malicious hacker, has the proper authorization to attack the target’s information systems. The objective of ethical hacking is to identify vulnerabilities, report them to the system owner and recommend countermeasures to improve system security. In order to take the Certified Ethical Hacker examination, the candidate must have 2 years of documented information security work experience.
Mark specializes in all aspects of technology services for the Firm. This includes information system security auditing and Internet perimeter penetration testing services. He has 26 years of technology experience providing consulting services such as network installation and support, business continuity planning, IT training and various information security services. Mark joined LCV in 2002.
Mark has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Illinois State University, and in addition, has IT certifications that include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and most recently earned his Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) designation.
