Edward Megli, EA

Ed Megli has been promoted from Senior Manager to Executive Officer. Ed started with LCV in 1993 as a seasonal tax preparer and transitioned to full time in 1998. He is an Enrolled Agent and was admitted to practice before the Internal Revenue Service in 2002. Ed works with a variety of clients, including financial institutions, small businesses, agricultural enterprises and individual clients. He also serves on the firm’s tax committee. His professional focus is primarily in the area of tax compliance, tax planning services and small business consulting. Ed and his wife, Deb, live in Sterling and have four sons.

Lori Pieper, BAI Certified Loan Reviewer

Lori Pieper has been promoted from Manager to Senior Manager. Lori is a member of the Bank Consulting Team and specializes in compliance, and loan review consulting engagements in community banks throughout Northern and Central Illinois. Prior to joining LCV in 1998, she worked for a multi-branch bank. A graduate of the University of Illinois, with a B.S. in Finance; Lori has also attended many bank schools and seminars, including the IBA Bank Compliance School, the BAI Compliance School, the National Commercial Lending School and the IBA Intermediate Internal Audit School. She resides in Henry, Illinois, with her husband, Sid, and their two children.
