HARRINGTON GRADUATES DALE CARNEGIE COURSE

The Sterling office of Lindgren, Callihan, Van Osdol & Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that Laura Harrington, Bank Consultant Manager & Internal Audit Manager, graduated from the Dale Carnegie Effective Communications and Human Relations Course.

Laura attended the Dale Carnegie Effective Communications and Human Relations course and earned honors for weeks 8, 9 and 10, including a Break Through Award, an Outstanding Performance Award and a Human Relations Award. She graduated from the course in March of 2008.

Laura currently specializes in engagements for bank clients in various areas including internal audits, regulatory compliance and certified audits. She joined the LCV team in July 2002 and was promoted to Manager in December 2007.

Prior to LCV, she was controller of a 200 million dollar community bank and the accountant for a billion dollar multi-tiered bank holding company. Laura was also employed as a bank analyst for an international banking software corporation. Her knowledge of data operations, financial and regulatory reporting as well as bank software conversions fills a unique role in our audit and consulting function for financial institutions.

Laura graduated with honors from Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting in 1990. She attended the American Bankers Association National Compliance School in Norman, Oklahoma. She resides in Geneseo, Illinois with her husband Jamie.
