LINDGREN, CALLIHAN, VAN OSDOL ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS

The Rockford Office of Lindgren, Callihan, Van Osdol & Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the following promotions.

David Paczak, CPA has been admitted as a Shareholder and promoted to Executive Officer effective October 1, 2006. Paczak joined LCV in 2005 as a Senior Tax Manager after 23 years of employment in the tax departments of several international accounting firms. He provides outstanding expertise in tax planning to businesses and individuals. He proactively works with clients involved in real estate and manufacturing, as well as non-profit organizations and families. Dave graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and from DePaul University in 1989 with a Masters of Science in Taxation. Paczak is married with three daughters. He is a member of the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society and currently serves as the Treasurer of the Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center.

Scot P. Roche, J.D., CPA has been admitted as a Shareholder and promoted to Executive Officer effective October 1, 2006. Prior to joining LCV as the Managing Director of LCV Financial Advisors, Ltd. in 2002, Roche worked several years within the tax and wealth management divisions for a major national accounting firm. He concentrates his practice on Investment Advisory Services, Estate Planning, Tax Planning, and Risk Management Planning. Roche graduated with a BA in Accounting from GrandView College and received his Juris Doctorate from Marquette University. Roche is involved with the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Crusader Clinic Foundation. He and his wife live in Rockford.

Mark Elliott, CPA has been promoted to Senior Manager. Elliott has extensive experience in audit, review, compilation and tax work service, and serves clients in a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing, and non-profit organizations. He graduated in 1995 from Rockford College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Management. Elliott joined LCV in 1995. He lives in Roscoe with his wife Kimberly, and their son.

Craig Gugliemetti, CPA has been promoted to Senior Manager. Gugliemetti specializes in various attestation services for financial institutions, not-for-profit organizations, manufacturers, and closely held businesses. He also provides tax and consulting services to clients in these industries, as well as individuals. He joined LCV in 1989 and attended Northern Illinois University where he received a BA in Accountancy. His professional affiliations include the AICPA, the Illinois CPA Society, the Community Banker’s Association of Illinois, and he has served as a treasurer for the Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity. He currently resides in Rockford.

Daniel B. Rowe, CPA has been promoted to Senior Manager. Rowe has more than ten years of tax and auditing experience with a wide variety of industries including governmental units, manufacturing, and construction. He joined LCV in 1995. Rowe is a member of the AICPA, Illinois CPA Society, Freeport Jaycees, and the Business Network International group. He graduated from Illinois State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Rowe lives in Freeport with his wife Jennifer, and their two children.
