LCV is seeking a Loan Review Specialist. This is a great opportunity for you to join a well-respected financial institutions consulting practice that has exhibited outstanding growth. We offer a mix of challenge, opportunity, and benefits. Assigned to multiple team engagements, you will support all aspects of loan review projects.
Loan review consultants provide quality services to the firm’s clients by performing the duties and responsibilities listed below in an efficient and quality driven manner:
- Interact with our clients on loan review and allowance for loan loss audit engagements
- Perform field work including preparation of a detailed loan review analysis for each borrowing relationship
- Discuss findings and observations during exit meetings
- Prepare work papers to support conclusions
- Prepare written loan review reports
- Assist clients with industry best practices
Must set high standards for both personal and team productivity while meeting client deadlines.
Minimum qualifications:
- B.A. /B.S. degree from an accredited university.
- Four years commercial loan review, credit analyst or commercial lending experience with a bank regulatory agency, financial institution or through a bank consulting group.
Experience should include the following types of commercial lending activity:
- real estate, land development, construction, equipment and asset based lending.
- Agricultural experience a plus.
Solid understanding of commercial loan structure, underwriting, collateral evaluation, cash flow analysis and associated control and approval processes. Experience with industry accepted loan policy standards, credit administration practices, risk management practices and regulatory requirements. Ability to commute to client locations with approximately 40% overnight travel depending on your location. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and credit analysis skills. Above average degree of expertise needed with Excel and Word software. Must possess a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.
